After an hour one reaches a neighboring valley of the Nieuwoudts. Rough rocks are sticking out of that high valley. (Here you can watch a 360-degree rock-panorama)

One of the favorite places is the Maalgat on the farm Dwarsrivier. The river carved a deep basin in the underlying rocks. From the surrounding rocks you can dive into the river. The brave ones jump from 12 m height.

Bushman paintings are ancient art of South Africa. They are a heritage. In one of the caves one can see these paintings. Recently discovered Bushman painting sites on neighbouring farms can also be visited and hiking trails from the Nieuwoudt Farm to these sites are under construction.
